One of the important amendments made in the Labor Law in April 2014 is that your boss can no longer dismiss you for no reason. Briefly to mention the details; when your boss terminates the contract, he has to explain to you the reason for it, not later than two months after the expiry date of the contract.

If you do not accept the reason given by your boss, you can go to court and claim compensation for wrongful dismissal.

Compensation is paid as a salary for 3 to 17 weeks. In addition to this compensation, you can also request an additional two weeks’ salary if your boss doesn’t tell you the reason for the termination at all, or if he or she reports it late.
